Chapter Treasurer
- Work with your predecessor and learn about the duties of your office. Take possession of all materials related to the office of treasurer. Verify information concerning your chapter’s funds, deposits, and accounts
- Learn how to read and update the established Excel budget sheet.
- Coordinate with the Faculty Advisor to change the signature on the Chapter's bank account from your predecessor to yourself.
- Keep financial records up-to-date and readily available for observation by the faculty advisor, chapter officers, or members.
- Pay all bills, and reimburse individuals, promptly.
- Coordinate with the Faculty Advisor to pay the registration for new members.
- Collect all fees and dues.
- Report to the chapter on a regular basis, including an end-of-the-year report.
- Complete the year-end report and file it with the Central Office.
- Assist the secretary in preparing the report of chapter activities to send to the Central Office.
- Work with the newly elected treasurer, and turn over all materials necessary to fulfilling the duties of the office.
